Early Europeans

Room 15 have been finding out about the Early Europeans who came to NZ. We read about the Whalers and Sealers, Missionaries, Settlers and Traders. We wrote scripts as if we were one of these people and recorded our scripts with our animations of the European ships arriving in NZ playing in the background. Mine is one of the ones that was finished and played on P.E.N.N. - our school news programme.

  1. Wow, really interesting and informative! That trip from England would have been long and boring...a PS2 or X-Box might have been useful in those times ay? I'm sure the children found ways to entertain themselves...what kind of games do you think they played? Well Done Room 15.

  2. I think they might have played hand games. Your right, it would be helpful for the children on board to have a X-Box or PS2. We are so lucky we have them now.
Thanks for the comment Mrs Nua

  4. Malo Litia, I loved watching this on PENN. We had visitors in the school this day and they were so impressed. Yes the green screen idea was new to our viewers, though what impressed the most was your acting skills. You delivered your story very clearly and took us back in time. Keep up the good work Litia. Your presenting skills are improving all the time. Mrs Tele'a
